The DTF printer workflow is a seamless journey starting from design creation, onto DTF film printing, followed by substrate transfer using a heat press, and culminating in a durable, finished product.
1. Preparation:
- Ensure the DTF printer is securely connected to the power supply and activate the power switch.
- Import your image into the DTF printer's software for precise editing and adjustments.
- Ready the special coating film alongside the fabric intended for printing.
2. Adjust the print settings:
- Configure the print parameters within the software, including image dimensions, print quality, and speed.
- Verify the cleanliness of the printer's printhead and calibrate its position for optimal performance.
3. Print image:
- Position the special coated film into the designated printing area within the DTF printer.
- Select the desired print image in the software and initiate the printing process.
- Allow the machine to complete the printing process.
4. Post-processing:
- Extract the printed special coated film and place it into a heat transfer or thermal transfer machine.
- Position the fabric over the film as the heat effectively transfers the image onto the fabric.
- After the transfer is complete, remove and let the fabric cool.
5. Finish:
- Inspect the printing outcome to confirm that the image is crisp and vibrant.
- Conduct any necessary post-processing, such as ironing, to perfect the finish.
