The seamless workflow of a DTF printer begins with designing artwork, followed by printing it onto DTF film. The design is then transferred onto the substrate using a heat press, culminating in a durable and lasting print finish.
1. Preparation:
- Ensure the DTF printer is securely connected to a power source, then activate the power switch.
- Import the desired image into the DTF printer’s software for precise editing and adjustments.
- Prepare the uniquely coated film along with the fabric intended for printing.
2. Adjust the print settings:
- Configure print parameters within the software, including image size, desired print quality, print speed, and more.
- Verify the cleanliness of the printhead and calibrate its position for optimal performance.
3. Print image:
- Position the specially coated film in the designated printing area of the DTF printer.
- Select your print image via the software, then initiate the printing process.
- Allow the printing to run its course until completion.
4. Post-processing:
- Carefully remove the printed film and position it in a heat or thermal transfer machine.
- Align the fabric onto the film, enabling the heat to transfer the image seamlessly onto the fabric.
- Once the transfer is finalized, remove and allow the fabric to cool naturally.
5. Finish:
- Inspect the print to confirm clarity and vibrancy of colors in the image.
- If additional processing is necessary, proceed with steps like ironing for perfection.
