The DTF printer workflow is an efficient, multi-step process. It begins with designing your artwork, then printing onto a DTF film. The design is then transferred onto the substrate using a heat press, culminating in a durable and lasting print.
1. Preparation:
- Ensure your DTF printer is securely connected to a power source and activate the power switch.
- Import and adjust your image within the DTF printer's software for optimal editing.
- Ready your special coating film alongside the fabric intended for printing.
2. Adjust the print settings:
- Configure the print parameters in the software, such as image size, print quality, and print speed, for flawless results.
- Confirm that the printer's printhead is spotless and calibrate its position for precision.
3. Print image:
- Insert the specially coated film into the DTF printer's designated printing area.
- Choose your print image in the software and initiate the printing process.
- Allow the printer to complete the printing process seamlessly.
4. Post-processing:
- Carefully remove the printed film and place it into a heat or thermal transfer machine.
- Place the fabric over the film, engaging the heating process to transfer the vibrant image onto the fabric.
- Once the transfer is completed, remove the fabric and let it cool down.
5. Finish:
- Inspect the print to ensure clarity and vibrant color saturation.
- Perform any additional processing if needed, such as ironing.
