The operational workflow of a DTF printer typically encompasses the creation of the artwork, precise printing onto DTF film, seamless design transfer onto the substrate using a heat press, concluding with the finishing touches to ensure longevity and endurance of the print.
1. Preparation:
- Ensure the DTF printer is properly connected to the power supply and activate the power switch.
- Import your chosen image into the DTF printer's software for detailed editing and precise adjustment.
- Ready the specially coated film and the fabric intended for printing.
2. Adjust the print settings:
- Configure the print parameters within the software, including image dimensions, print quality, print speed, and more.
- Ensure the printer's printhead is pristine and calibrate the printhead position for optimal results.
3. Print image:
- Position the specially coated film into the designated printing area of the DTF printer.
- Select your print image within the software and initiate the printing process.
- Allow the printer to complete the printing process.
4. Post-processing:
- Carefully extract the printed coated film and place it into a heat transfer or thermal transfer machine.
- Position the fabric atop the film, allowing the heating process to flawlessly transfer the image onto the fabric.
- Once the transfer is finalized, remove the fabric and allow it to cool.
5. Finish:
- Examine the printing results to verify that the image is sharp and bursting with color.
- If necessary, perform additional processing, such as ironing, to enhance the final result.
