The comprehensive workflow with a DTF printer involves crafting the artwork, printing it on DTF film, and expertly transferring the design onto the chosen substrate using a heat press, culminating in a durable and long-lasting print.
1. Preparation:
- Ensure that the DTF printer is securely connected to the power supply, and switch on the power.
- Import your image into the DTF printer's software for any necessary editing and adjustments to achieve the perfect print.
- Prepare the specialized coating film and the fabric that will receive the print.
2. Adjust the print settings:
- Configure the print parameters in the software, including image size, print quality, and speed to meet your specific needs.
- Check that the printer's printhead is clean and accurately calibrate its position for optimal results.
3. Print image:
- Load the special coated film into the designated printing area of the DTF printer.
- Choose the image to print from the software and initiate the printing process.
- Await the completion of the printing process.
4. Post-processing:
- Carefully remove the printed film and place it in a heat transfer or thermal transfer machine.
- Position the fabric on the film, allowing the heating process to seamlessly transfer the image onto the fabric.
- Once the transfer is complete, remove the fabric and allow it to cool.
5. Finish:
- Inspect the results to ensure the image is vivid and richly colored.
- If necessary, conduct any additional processing, such as ironing, to perfect the finish.
